As an orthodox follower of the ___________ (insert name of religion) religion, I believe that human behavior should not deviate from that called for in my religion’s sacred text. This I see as the unerring word of God. I hold it to be literally true, and believe that it provides an absolute basis for morality. I believe that God can and has personally intervened in the lives of people in ways consistent with stories in this sacred text.
