For me, like Hindus and some Buddhists, being saved means overcoming desire and self attachment, escaping a weary cycle of death/birth, then attaining Nirvana.  I believe Reincarnation, the rebirth of a soul in a new body, can provide for both life after death and cosmic justice. The latter results as a person’s actions in one life produce karmic forces with ethical consequences in future lives.
