more about TFJD Codes for Worldview Themes
version 3.0 worldview theme structure
Attempting to gauge the relative amount of thinking (T), feeling (F), joining (J), and doing (D) associated with individual worldview themes enables our going beyond using a simple playing cards based scheme for classifying them. In this more refined TFJD scheme, each theme is assigned a four digit TFJD code based on relative measures (scored on a 1 = low, 2 = average, 3 = high basis) of contributions. The chart below provides examples.
worldview theme | THINKING (T) | FEELING (F) | JOINING (J) | DOING (D) | TFJD Code
#5A Scientific Materialism | 3 | 1 | 2 | 1 | 3121
#7B Magic | 1 | 2 | 3 | 3 | 1233 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
#7A Mysticism | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1111
#34 Valuing Traditions and Status Quo | 2 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 2222

Each of the eighty-one four digit TFJD codes are uniquely defined in a relative sense; each can be associated with a uniquely numbered box as illustrated in the table below. Admittedly what worldview theme is put in what box is a bit more subjective! The assignments are based on both quantitative and qualitative measures of human behavior, and neuroscience based considerations. (see *Note below) As you look over the table below, realize the following: 1) As one proceeds from left to right in the table below, generally thinking becomes more evident. 2) As one proceeds from top to bottom, generally speaking, feeling becomes more evident. 3) There are no good or bad code scores: their meaning is loosely connected to activity in certain brain areas.
