#44B ANIMAL RIGHTS

this web page is no longer maintained click here for newer version 4.0

I too believe life is to be respected.  But unlike anti-abortion activists, those battling euthanasia, opponents of capital punishment, etc, my focus is on extending that respect to animals. I believe if we link morally wrong to evil, evil to pain, pain to certain behavioral reactions we see in higher animals, then a desire to do the morally right thing dictates recognizing that animals have rights and extending ethical treatment to them.
