  THE ARTISTIC WORLDVIEW

this web page is no longer maintained click here for newer version 4.0

As an artist, I aim to present my creation, not in isolation, but as part of an interconnected divine fabric. In sharing my vision / personal experience, I fix it forever in imposing a permanent, artificial structure on transient chaos from which it arose. My work should arouse feelings and maximize my audience’s emotional commitment. I offer my creation to others, serving as their intermediary. Its birth can be traced to my isolation, suffering, ego suppression, then awakening , connecting -- sometimes by analogizing -- and above all, my empathizing. I hope that, in it, most perceive some of the harmony, vibrant mystery / grace that I have beheld. (Note: Some artistic creations are more narrowly focused! Many are born when passive looking ends and active observing begins. To some, all creative thinkers are artists!)
