#49B SOCIALISM

I believe in a centrally planned socialist economic system in which, not only does the state control all means of production but, production and distribution are designed to directly satisfy economic demands and human needs with the common good, rather than private profit and accumulation of wealth, in mind. (Note: socialist economies can take different forms: some retain aspects of capitalism, some reject central planning, some embrace democracy, etc. Communist states have all property held in common for the public welfare.)
